You Need a Camera — Don't Miss a Single Moment
You cannot go to Brooks Falls Bear Viewing without a camera. Period. The moments you will witness at Bush Pilot Hunter’s Retreat Lodge — Brown Bears catching salmon, Bald Eagles diving, Bull Moose wading through the lake at sunrise — these are once in a lifetime shots that deserve a professional lens. If you didn’t bring a camera, we have you covered.

The Camera — Canon EOS Rebel T7 DSLR
The Canon EOS Rebel T7 is a professional grade DSLR camera that is incredibly easy to use — even if you have never picked up a camera before. It produces stunning, crystal clear high resolution images that will take your breath away when you get home and see what you captured out there in the Alaskan wilderness.

Three Lenses Included
Lens 1 — Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II Your everyday lens. Perfect for wide landscape shots, lodge life, close encounters with wildlife, and capturing the full scale of the Alaskan scenery around you.
Lens 2 — Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III Telephoto Lens Step it up for medium to long distance wildlife photography. Get stunning detailed shots of bears, moose, and eagles from a safe distance without disturbing the animals.
Lens 3 — Ultimaxx 420-800mm f/8.3-16 Super HD Telephoto Zoom Lens The big gun. This lens lets you zoom in from extraordinary distances — perfect for Brooks Falls where the bears are across the water and you need serious reach to capture every detail. If you want that magazine quality shot of a Brown Bear launching out of the water with a salmon in its mouth, this is the lens that gets it.

Rental Agreement & Payment
A signed rental agreement is required before the camera leaves the lodge. You have two options:
- Sign at the Lodge — Review the camera in person, confirm you are comfortable operating it, then sign and pay using our payment processor at the lodge
- Sign Online — [DocuSign rental agreement link]
We recommend signing at the lodge so you have the chance to hold the camera and make sure you are ready before your adventure begins.

Guest Responsibilities
By renting this camera you agree to the following:
- You are fully responsible for the camera and all equipment for the entire duration of your rental
- The camera must be returned clean — wipe down the body, lenses, and accessories with the microfiber cloth provided before returning
- The camera is water resistant but not waterproof — exercise caution near the water at all times
- In the event of damage, loss, dropping in the lake, or any cause of damage to the camera body, lenses, tripod, or any camera parts — a replacement fee of $2,500.00 is due at the lodge before departure
