Guest Responsiblities
Transparent policies regarding your booking, our 50% deposit requirement, and a detailed breakdown of our cancellation and liability standards to ensure your “trip of a lifetime” is handled with professional care.
Designated Preparation Day (Sunday)
All guests will have Sunday to prepare their meat and fish for shipping.
Shipping Allowance & Limits
- Each guest is allowed up to 200 lbs of meat or fish shipped free of charge
- If exceeding 200 lbs, additional shipping costs will apply based on weight
- Animal capes and antlers ship free of charge
Meat & Fish Preparation Guidelines
- Debone all meat, wash thoroughly, and cut into dinner-sized portions
- Fish must be filleted, washed, and prepared for vacuum sealing
- Vacuum seal all items properly
Labeling & Identification Requirements
- Clearly write your name and shipping address on every vacuum-sealed bag
- Label each bag with its contents
- Number all bags for accurate tracking
Weight & Packing Instructions
- If approaching the 200 lb limit, weigh all items before packing
- Pack vacuum-sealed bags into duffel bags (max 50 lbs per bag)
- Place duffel bags into chest freezers
- Attach duct tape label with your name and address on each bag
Hunter-Specific Instructions (Capes & Hides)
- Skin animal capes completely, removing all meat
- Apply salt thoroughly on the skin side
- Hang and drip dry for 10 hours
- Repeat salting process
- Fold to a maximum size of 24″ x 24″
- Place in a plastic bag with your name and address clearly labeled
Antler Preparation & Protection
- Cut antlers at the base of the skull
- Remove all remaining meat from the bone
- Cover each point with garden hose for protection
- Place in a clear bag with your name and shipping address
- Secure the bag tightly
Shipping Process (Alaska Air Cargo)
- All items will be shipped via Alaska Air Cargo
- Shipment includes meat, fish, hides, and antlers together
- Customers are responsible for pickup from their nearest cargo warehouse
Pickup & Storage Policy
- Alaska Air Cargo will notify you when your shipment arrives
- Items will be stored in a freezer until pickup
- Timely pickup is required to avoid storage fees
